Scrooge and Santa rubbed elbows at the 2nd Annual Christmas Party for The Wish Connection children and their families. Over 60 guests from the ever-expanding Wish Connection family joined in the fun. Carnival rides, games, fun food and frolicking filled every stocking at the "Christmas Carol"-themed event. The Ghosts of Christmases Past, Present & Future were joined by townsfolk straight out of Scrooge's London to help with the merriment. Elves were on-hand to help Santa give a specially selected gift to every Wish child and sibling, and a fruit basket to every Wish family.

Lions and Tigers and Bears were on the prowl!...not in Oz but at the San Antonio Zoo, for The Wish Connection Family Summer Event. Wish children and their families were given exclusive access to the zoo and were treated to a classic American backyard barbeque of burgers and dogs with all the sides and fixins'. Guests were given a close-up look at pet-able residents of the zoo, including a Madagascar tree boa, a three-banded armadillo, a lesser hedgehog tenrec and an Angora goat. Each of the Wish children also received a special treat box filled with zoo-themed goodies.
