  • Kiley - February 2009 - Kiley's wish was very simple- a baby doll, a swing and Wizard of Oz party. For the first part of the wish Kiley and her family were sent to Chicago for a full "American Girl Experience" where she received the doll of her dreams, Mia. While she was there, she had her own personal Shopping Guide take her throughout the store -- she came home with all the dolls and accessories she could ever want! While she was in Chicago, American Girl was generous enough to donate a special doll, $130 of the spending money, and a day full of shopping, lunch, photo shoots, doll hair salon, and even a big celebratory cake. Kiley is in LOVE with her new baby dolls. Kiley's final component of her wish was a Fairy Tale party that conicided with her birthday. She received several beautiful dresses that had matching dresses for her baby dolls. She was also told about her fabulous new swing set that was designed for her special needs.

  • Jabe - March 2009 - Jabe's magical journey began with a surprise envelope arriving at his residence which included movie tickets for the whole family for the new release of "Madagascar" (he loves Madagascar). Also, included was a letter telling him there was more to come in the mail soon. We then sent him an invitation to his kick-off party that was held at a ranch, where he enoyed riding horses and participating in a roping contest (where he won his own belt buckle). He was also surprised by his most favorite Super Hero-SPIDERMAN. While at the Ranch, he unveiled the second part of his "WISH" -- a trip to Houston which included a Saturday trip to the Houston Aquarium, where he was able to feed & swim w/ the animals (which is what he said he wanted to do). On Sunday, he attended the Houston Rodeo where the Jonas Brothers performed. Also, his Wish Team will be surprising him with the one & only thing he said he wanted, a BIKE. Since he's paraplegic, the bike would need to be a Hand Cycle. Finally, the last thing he enjoyed was a room makeover themed after his favorite Super Hero-SPIDERMAN!
  • Gerardo - July 2009 - Gerardo's wish team worked on an amazing wish that included a trip to LA to enjoy Disneyland and see his Grandfather, whom he loves deeply and cannot see very often. Gerardo and his family left for Disneyland in Anaheim, California on June 26th. They arrived on Sunday, June 28th. They were provided an envelope at the Front desk at the Marriott hotel from our partners, Kristie's Foundation. Included were tickets for the family of 6 to Disneyland for two days and Universal Studios for 1 day. This foundation provided discounted tickets and hotel stay including free breakfasts. The family truly enjoyed their magical experience at Disneyland, and the boys didn't want to come back home. The second day at Disney, the family was met by our Calfiornia Pioneers who walked thru the park with them to make sure they had seen all the age appropriate rides and events. They enjoyed meeting Mickey Mouse. Donald Duck and Minnie Mouse autographed the brim of Gerardo's cap. On Friday and Saturday, July 10, and 11th, Gerardo's wish team met at his home, cleared furniture, and painted his room his favorite color of light blue. They organized his books, shoes, and desk area, hung new curtain rods and curtains. The team brought in a new night stand with a small lamp to be used as a night light. His new "horse themed" bedspread, twin bed, and decorative accessories were added. On Saturday, 7/25 he enjoyed his 5th Birthday Party, his very first party! He had always been too ill to have a celebration. It was "Spider-man" themed, in line with his favorite superhero.
  • Christopher - March 2009 - Christopher and his family traveled to Nashville, TN where they were greeted by the AT&T Pioneers and treated to a weekend full of adventures at the Gaylord Opryland Hotel, General Jackson Showboat, and Aquarium Restaurant. While in Nashville, Christopher also received a limo ride--with VIP concert tickets and backstage passes--to the Sanctus Real concert...he got to meet the band; they gave him personalized, autographed gifts. After the concert, Christopher and his family were treated to a special dinner at Hard Rock Café. Before leaving Nashville, Christopher was indulged with a "bird's eye view" of Nashville from the top floor of the downtown AT&T building, a VIP lunch at Demo's and a extraordinary visit at the Adventure Science Center! Christopher's wish experience did not end there...back in San Antonio he was treated to a performance by the San Antonio Star Wars society at his superstar party at CiCi's Pizza!
  • Miranda - June 2009 - The Dallas wish team was geared up to provide a very special dream wish for Miranda. She wanted to meet the Jonas Brothers! The team did everything they coul to make her wish come true. Together, many phone calls were made, emails sent and shopping done for supplies and gifts for Miranda. Then the special day arrived. It was full of activities from hair, nail, and makeovers, to decorating the van and hotel room - it was all about Miranda. The day began with a visit to Premier Atelier (the prestigious hair salon of the Dallas Cowboys) and a personalized makeup session with a MAC consultant. Before heading to the concert, Miranda and friends dined at The Cheesecake Factory. She seemed very happy with all that was planned for her, however, she mentioned she still hoped that she would meet Joe, her favorite Jonas Brother. The team really tried, but this was the one part of the wish they could not make happen, until the day of the concert. All dolled up, she was ready for the evening. Miranda and her guest were on their way to their seats, when the elevator doors opened and there was Joe (her favorite Jonas Brother). It was as if he was waiting for her. WOW! The Lord works in mysterious ways. HER WISH WAS COMPLETE! They took pictures, talked and exchanged hugs. After the concert, she even saw the Jonas Brothers parents and got pictures with them as well.
  • Joshua - November 2009 - This was an incredible wish. Joshua asked for a room makeover in the theme of "Indiana Jones." His family spent the weekend at the new Holiday Inn by Seaworld and went to Seaworld on Saturday while the room was being finished. Joshua loves archeology and the military, and especially Indiana Jones. He spent the afternoon at UTSA having a private tour of the Archeology department and participating in his very own treasure hunt, complete with an authentic treasure map created by the Archeology department. He also had a tour of the Art department (he loves art). And, the grand finale came when he participated in marching drills with the Army ROTC cadets AND the Air Force ROTC cadets, then enjoyed a real live Humvee. He received more gifts from the cadets than anyone could count. Free meals were provided throughout the weekend for Joshua and his family, donated by various restaurants in San Antonio. It was an absolutely amazing weekend!
  • Lillian - November 2009 - Lillian's wish was to have a room makeover in a "princess" theme! While her room was being transformed, Lillian took part in many wonderful activities over a weekend. She traveled to the Candlelight Ranch near Marble Falls, TX. She was then treated to three days full of fun and adventure. Her presence was requested at the Lighting of the Marble Falls "Wall of Lights." She was the person who flipped the switch on thousands of lights for all to see. She also enjoyed horseback riding and some of her family members participated in a Zip Line adventure and kite flying. There was even a pumpkin painting contest. She had a delightful party in her honor where she met with a Prince and Princess. She boarded the Austin Steam Train from Cedar Park to Bertram and back - ALL ABOARD!!! She completed her weekend extravaganza by visiting the Longhorn Caverns, going down deep under the earth to see all the sights underground. Her final destination was home, to see her newl decorated bedroom. Congratulations, Lillian - our little princess.
